The show is set for Friday from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The group of DJs, emcees, and scratchers will play music from electronica artists ranging from Daft Punk, MSTRKRFT, and The Crystal Method to Shinichi Osawa, Justice, and The Bloody Beetroots.

Neon Night's remixes will include everything from Kanye West, Britney Spears, and Bloc Party to The Rapture, Interpol, and Nine Inch Nails.

The DJs will include Whispering Eye, Phlip, DJ-RC, Mere Robot, and FLNGN.

During Neon Nights a pair of tickets to see Depeche Mode with Peter Bjorn & John in Phoenix and a 2-day pass to the 2009 San Diego Street Scene will be given away.

There is no cover charge, but attendees must be 21 and possess valid picture ID.

Drink specials will be available during the event.

Neon Nights was started in 2008 by Adrian Flanagan, (aka FLNGN).

"We had a lot of fun the first time we did it," said Flanagan. "This time around we are making it a little bigger. We don't get to do this often, so we want to go big. Hopefully the Yuma crowd will take advantage of this event because it is something very different for Yuma, which is a good thing. We are taking over Jimmie Dee's Bar; the music, the lighting, everything!"

Flanagan said Yuma is a little archaic when it comes to modern types of music.

"Yuma is behind the times because it is so small. There really aren't as many options, and we hope to remedy that by bringing in DJs from San Diego and Phoenix. This will be a nice change of pace for the local music scene. Flanagan said electronic music is special because there are so many different aspects to it.

"We are going to play a lot of re-mixes of famous songs people already know so they can dance to it. The DJs will mix and scratch the music live, and one will actually use a real vinyl turn table."
