Waiting in line a waste of time
Waiting in line to vote seems like a ridiculous waste of time. What is this? The 19th century? Are we waiting for the Pony Express to carry the ballots to Washington?
Why not let all of the voting be done by mail, saving the time and expense of setting up poling places?
President Eisenhower warned about the military-industrial complex taking over the country. Today he probably would warn us about the superpacs.
Compromise is the lifeblood of politics. Nobody gets everything they want!
Barry Goldwater feared that the unbending religious fundamentalists might control the country. Today he probably would fear the tea party and their paranoia that gave us four years of obstruction.
