Obama won but nation lost
Yes, America, Obama won, but at what cost? I have a few parting comments on President Barack Obama's destruction of America. Our country is done. The great American dream is gone. We are a country of takers who want to do nothing more than to take from the producers. Soon, there will be no more producers left for the takers.
Obama will now take even more from the producers to hand out to the takers. Put all this with a socialist health care nightmare he created, self-serving politicians who subject everyone but government employees to their laws, and the degradation of vows of marriage. Our once-great country is on the same path of collapse as many previous civilizations and we are beholding to China. Unfortunately, our future generations are going to pay for our ways.
Are we deserving of God's blessings or his wrath?
I no longer know my country. America is not a mass of land, it is an idea. And that idea died Nov. 6, 2012.
Yes, America, Obama and his socialistic ideas have won, but they are not the ideas of a free nation. They are the ideas of a captive nation … captive to something for nothing and redistribution and equality of outcome, not equality of opportunity. I love my country but I find it more difficult to care for her future. Barack Obama is an incompetent man leading a nation of incompetents.
Yes, America, Obama has won and in a few short years, America will become insolvent. Unemployment will continue to skyrocket as employers find it impossible to expand their business and also afford the increased taxes, regulations and Obamacare mandates that are coming their way. The cost of goods will continue to increase as the Fed prints more money to cover our explosive debt. All of this, of course, assumes he doesn't lead us into a nuclear war in the Middle East.
Yes, America, Obama won and we are going into a death spiral, and I'm no longer interested in fighting the good fight. After several letters to the editors and a strong show of support for my letters, this will be my final one. They have been a waste of time. I no longer care about politics. I am not sure how I'll be spending my newly discovered spare time, but I'm sure not going to try to make more money just so Obama can give it to someone else.
There will be those of you who will say my words are the words of a sore loser. I'm not a sore loser, I'm a sore American. Yes, Obama won but America lost.
