Trader Joe's not on this wish list for Yuma

Everyone, it seems, is mounting this campaign to get a Trader Joe's in Yuma.

I'm sorry, but I've been to these stores, and maybe it's just me, but I was not tickled.

However, if I had my own wish list, at the top of said list would be a new Sizzler restaurant. I'm still baffled by the chain's closing its restaurant here in Yuma years ago and not building another one.

Next, and you are going to laugh, a Waffle House. Say what you want, but the breakfasts are go-od!

Now, if I had the money, I'd invest in a Hobby Bench store. I frequent one in Phoenix and it's like stepping into a dream.

Finally, a Dunkin' Donuts. Again, we had one, lost it, and never got another one. It was a tradition for us to sit along 4th Avenue eating Dunkin' Donuts, watching the Yuma Jaycees Silver Spur Rodeo Parade.
