Smucker Park has been voted Yuma's Best Place to Walk/Jog for the 10th year in a row.
"The track is obviously something we work hard to maintain," said Dave Nash, city of Yuma spokesperson.
"The hillsides provide great scenery looking down on the valley and also a challenge for those trying to stay fit.
"For those who aren't looking for that type of challenge, there's a cut-off where they can shorten the amount of time to do a lap."
The track is nearly a mile long, with drinking fountains and exercise equipment along the way. Restrooms and covered ramadas with barbecue grills are also available. And for the children, there is a large playground in the center of the park.
Park hours are from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Smucker Park is located on Avenue A, between 24th Street and 32nd Street. For ramada reservations, call the Yuma Parks and Recreation Department at 373-5243.
