Questions abound about commission
There was an article in the Yuma Sun on Christmas Day about the Independent Redistricting Commission (IRC) being taken to court. It is very interesting that the IRC is trying to deny making public their activities. This is the same commission which repeatedly ruled 3 to 2 with two Democrat members. The concept of this commission was to eliminate political tricks by either political party. The Independent member's history reported after being appointed to the IRC had been actively supporting Democratic members in prior elections.
Why would members of this committee insist on keeping everything secret? Maybe it is because of all the one-sided votes in favor of the Democratic side?
