Come Out and Play is Sept. 19

The Parks and Recreation Department will host its 6th annual Come Out and Play Day at Kennedy Park on Saturday, Sept. 19.

The Yuma Sun printed the incorrect date for the free event in Friday's newspaper.

Come Out and Play Day will feature activities for kids and families, running from 9 a.m. to noon.

Activities will include:

•  Demonstrations by professional skateboarders
•  Kayaking in the pool
•  Scuba diving
•  "Monster basketball" and "monster soccer"
•  Various games ranging from relay races and disc golf to obstacle courses and dodgeball
