Subway robbed at 1522 S. Avenue B
Yuma police are looking for a man they say robbed a Subway restaurant with a handgun on New Year's Day.
At about 9:42 p.m. Tuesday, police said, an unidentified male entered the restaurant at 1522 S. Avenue B and demanded money from the clerk.
The suspect was described as having an average build, approximately 5 foot 4 inches tall. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, an elderly-man Halloween-type mask, a dark-colored ball cap and blue jeans.
The suspect displayed a handgun and left with an undisclosed amount of money.
The Yuma Police Department asks anybody with information about this case to call 783-4421, or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous.
