Man arrested, 14 grams of meth seized in drug bust
A Yuma man was arrested after a raid on his home reportedly resulted in the seizure of about 14 grams of methamphetamine, an undisclosed amount of marijuana and various drug paraphernalia including packaging material and scales.
Acting on a tip about the possible sale of illegal drugs at a home in the 8100 block of South Apache Lane, agents with the Yuma County Narcotics Task Force (YCNTF) opened an investigation.
After exploring the allegations, YCNTF was able to procure a search warrant for a home occupied by 38-year-old Adelberto Gonzalez, 8122 S. Apache Lane. The search warrant was executed at about 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Once inside, YCNTF agents allegedly discovered the meth, pot and associated paraphernalia.
Gonzalez was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center, where he faces possible charges including possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
