Harvest Prep game forfeited
Friday night’s game between Harvest Prep and Tucson-Southgate will not be played, said HPA coach Nathen Baker.
Harvest Prep will get the win. Baker said Southgate forfeited because they “did not want to come to Yuma.”
PREP CROSS COUNTRY
Gila Ridge tops Yuma High
Madison Haynes won for the girls and Jonathan Vandeberg for the boys as Gila Ridge swept Yuma High on Wednesday.
Haynes finished in 20:27, ahead of second place teammate Melia Harman, who finished in 22:23.
Vandeberg won in 18:12, 11 seconds ahead of Yuma High’s Filomeno Munoz, the second place finisher.
The Gila Ridge boys won 22-36, while the girls won 17-38.
