Rummage sale

Gloria de Cristo Lutheran Church, 11273 E. 40th St., will have its annual rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Southern gospel concert
The Master’s Quartet will present a concert of traditional Southern gospel music at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Southern Baptist Church, 24th Street and Kennedy Lane.

A free-will offering will be accepted for the quartet.

Two-day assembly

The Spanish-speaking public is invited to a two-day assembly for Jehovah’s Witnesses from 9:40 a.m. to 3:55 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Post Auditorium, 400 W. 5th St.

The theme is “Santificado sea el nombre de Dios,” from Mateo 6:9.

Valentine’s Day

St. John Neumann Church will have a Valentine’s Day dinner and dance in the Father Friel Centre, 11545 E. 40th St., from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday. There will be mariachi music and a DJ. Dinner will be served 7 to 9 p.m. only. Beer and wine will be available.

Cost for the dinner and dance is $16. Tickets will be available in the church office. For more information, call 342-3544.

Minister honored

As part of the 120-year celebration, First United Methodist Church, 298 W. 3rd St., will honor former ministers. Michael Bryant will be honored during the 10 a.m. service Sunday.

Love workshop

Yuma Center for Spiritual Living, 781 S. 2nd Ave., invites the public to a “Learning to Love” workshop at 11 a.m. Sunday. The 60-minute, interactive workshop will be facilitated by Lorna Bright and Kathy Kehl.

Gospel concert

Frank Durocher, better known as “The Chief,” and his band from Canada will perform a gospel concert at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Foothills Assembly of God Church, 12831 E. 41st St. A love offering will be collected.

Spaghetti dinner

St. John Neumann Parish Centre, 11545 E. 40th St., will have a spaghetti dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Menu will be chicken Parmesan, spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, dessert, coffee, tea or milk. Beer and wine will be available.

Cost for the dinner is $10 and includes a glass of wine. All tickets are presold; no tickets will be sold at the door. Entertainment by the Yuma Barbershop Chorus will follow at 6:30 p.m.
