Two Guys Auto to open larger sales lot

With today's economy, this may not seem like the right time for an auto sales business to expand. But that's just what Two Guys Auto Center is doing.

Owners David Limon and Miguel Aramburo are in the process of opening a preowned vehicle sales lot at 1717 S. Pacific Ave., where T&K Enterprises previously was located. The sign was being changed just the other day, and Limon said the partners hope to open the lot in the next couple of weeks with more than 300 cars available.

The move is a relocation of the lot Two Guys Auto Center had at 345 W. 32nd St. in front of Sprague's. Limon said that lot is being closed to open the much larger - 10 acres - lot on Pacific Avenue. Two Guys' established phone number of 344-2495 will be transferred to the new lot.

The business also will continue to maintain its original lot at 3773 S. Avenue 3E, which will be getting a new phone number. Limon and Aramburo started the business in 2006.

Ken Stevenson, owner of T&K Enterprises, did not immediately return calls for comment about his business.

• Plans have been submitted to build a 6,000-square-foot shell retail building at Yuma Palms Regional Center north of Chuck E Cheese's.
