Public speaking seminar
When speaking in public, do you have trouble organizing your thoughts, speaking inaudibly or stumbling through your speech? If you are a speaker who occasionally “ums” your way through a presentation, a public speaking seminar can help boost your confidence.
A two-day seminar will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Arizona Western College Entrepreneurial Center, 1351 S. Redondo Center Drive. Cost is $176.

Southwest Ag Summit
The 2013 Southwest Agriculture Summit will be held this week on the Arizona Western College campus in the Shoening Conference Center and Ag/Science Building.
The summit will kick off with a registration breakfast on Wednesday and continue with a general session, golf tournament and welcome reception that evening. Thursday activities will include both breakfast and lunch keynote speakers as well as informative breakout forums and conclude with the Harvest Dinner. A trade show will display the latest in agriculture technology and services.

QuickBooks Introduction will be offered March 19-21 from 6 to 9 p.m. each evening at the AWC Entrepreneurial Center, 1351 S. Redondo Center Drive. Cost is $149.

Ethics in the Workplace
Are you plagued by ethical dilemmas at work? Do you struggle with bad behavior from co-workers, customers and vendors? Identify ways to recognize and deal with unethical people and circumstances during the seminar, “Ethics in the Workplace,” presented by Margaret Mai.

Tax-free investing seminar
Edward Jones financial adviser Kristin M. Shore of the Foothills office will host the seminar, “Tax-free investing: It's not what you make, it's what you keep.”
