Aglow brunch

Yuma Aglow Lighthouse will have Kathy Garibay give a talk today at Ramada Inn, 300 E. 32nd St.

The topic “It's Because of Jesus” will be at 9:45 a.m. A buffet brunch will be served for $9. RSVP to Elaine at 782-9377.

Rummage sale

St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 14th Avenue and 16th Street, will have a rummage sale at 7 a.m. Sept. 8.

GriefShare

GriefShare, a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close, will be 6 p.m. Sept. 11 and 1 p.m. Sept. 13 at Foothills Southern Baptist Church, 13148 E. 40th St.

The nondenominational group features Biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. Each session will include a video seminar and group discussion, with a workbook to assist with note-taking, journaling and grief study. To register or for more information, call Dottie Anderson at 342-3557.
