Two registered sex offenders have new addresses

The Yuma County Sheriff's Office is informing the community of the new addresses of two convicted sex offenders.

David Ware, 44, is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, 200 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is now residing at 17577 S. Avenue A in Somerton.

In April of 2007, Ware entered into a plea agreement in Yuma County Superior Court for two counts of sexual conduct with a minor. Ware was sentenced to 5 years in prison and lifetime intensive probation. A police investigation revealed that Ware had sexual contact with the 15-year-old victim who he knew.

Sixto Gabriel Galaviz, 34, is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall, 210 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is now residing at 2084 Black St., in San Luis, Ariz.

In June of 1998, Galaviz was convicted by the Mohave Superior Court of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. He was sentenced to three years' probation.

Offenders are categorized in three levels. Level 1 is a low risk to reoffend, Level 2 an intermediate risk and Level 3 a high risk. Ware is considered a Level 2 sex offender, while Galaviz is considered a Level 3 sex offender.

Neither Ware or Galaviz are wanted by law enforcement. YCSO is releasing information about their new address pursuant to the community notification law on sex offenders.
