Raiders fourth at state

The Cibola wrestling team finished the year 30-2 ending up in the top four at the team state tournament at Shadow Mountain Saturday.
As the four seed, Cibola defeated fifth seeded Deer Valley 36-33. Raider Roy Torres' final pin sealed the victory and moved Cibola into the semis.
The Raiders' season came to an end against No. 1 seed Sunnyside in a 60-21 loss.
The Raiders had four wrestlers go undefeated on the day. Gibran Anaya (130), Ernesto Prieto (135), Gabriel Miranda (145) and Kelvin Gastelun (171) all went 2-0.
