Amid changes, paper presses on
I don't know.
Please take note, that will be my answer to anyone who asks me today and in the days to come how the Yuma Sun's sale to Rhode Island Suburban Newspapers will impact me or the my fellow associates.
This is what I expect to happen: Nothing, of a monumental nature. It will be business as usual for Yuma County's only daily newspaper.
If I sound complacent, keep in mind that since I came to work at what was The Yuma Daily Sun a long time ago, this is the seventh time the newspaper has been sold. At least I think it's the seventh time. I may have lost count.
And each time we were sold, we kept motoring along, doing our jobs and with the exception of technological upgrades over the years, there have been no changes to speak of as we strive to be best newspaper we can be, day in and day out, 365 days a year.
