Michael received his medical degree at Addis Abeba University of Ethiopia. He trained at Tel Aviv University of Israel and Howard University of Washington, D.C., with one year of general surgery and three years in internal medicine as chief medical resident. He has been practicing medicine for more than 15 years, six of them in the United States.
When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering, sports and traveling.
Dr. Manjunath Nathan
Manjunath Nathan, M.D., has opened an internal medical practice in Yuma. Currently, he is sharing office space with Dr. Mallappa Neelappa at 1801 W. 24th St. while his permanent office is under construction. Nathan can be reached at 328-8393.
He completed his residency at the North Shore University Hospital in Forest Hills, N.Y., and completed an electrocardiology fellowship at the University of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles. He is board-certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Ahmed Kemmou
Ahmed Kemmou, M.D., a board-certified general surgeon, has relocated to Yuma from a private practice in West Virginia. His office is at 2435 S. Avenue A, phone 344-5055.
Kemmou completed his general surgery residency at the Metropolitan Group Hospitals in Chicago.
