Enjoy the post-election 'silence'

Oh my gosh!

Turned on the television this morning, and it was so peaceful, so nice to not see a political advertisement every 15 seconds or so, one after another, over and over and over.

Then I started thinking about the television stations that ran all of those advertisements for Jeff Flake, Richard Carmona, Joe Arpaio, Paul Penzone, Jonathan Paton, Ann Kirkpatrick, Kyrsten Sinema, Vernon Parker and a plethora of others, and couldn't help but wonder what their revenue numbers would look like on a bar chart, comparing August, September and October with, well, today.

I mean, there has to be one heck of a drop, dip, dive, whatever word you want to use without all of those political ads.

I wondered what they will use to fill all of those empty spots. Oh that's right, diet pills and drugs, wondrous cleaners and potato peelers, singles online dating sites, and on and on and on ... so nothing has changed.
