Lillia S. Mason-Phillips
Lillia Mason-Philllips, 87, passed away February 26, 2004 in Yuma. She was born October 1, 1916 in Yuma.
She was employed with Schwark and Vaughn CPA's for over 30 years, and was also a member of Valley Baptist Church, The Dryels Quilters, and Yuma Porcelain Artists.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Phillips, of Yuma; daughter, Maybelle (Jim) Whitlock, of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico; and son, Bryan (Ruth) Mason, of San Bernadino, California. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lilla was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Mason, and brother, Daniel D. Snow.
Visitation will be at Johnson Mortuary on Monday, March 1, 2004 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral services will be at Johnson Mortuary on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at 10:00am.
Pastors Charles Tyson, Glenn Connell, and granddaughter, Cynthia Sylter will officiate the service. Lilla's final resting place will be Desert Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice of Yuma or Valley Baptist Church.
Judy C. Wise-Robinson
Judy C. Wise-Robinson, 60, passed away February 16, 2004.
She is survived by her sons, Russell, Randy and Greg Wise; grandchildren, Erik, Morgan, Tyler, Zoe, Vanessa and Madison; her brother, Tom and family; and her sister, Pat.
A memorial was held Saturday, February 21, 2004 at Heather Mortuary Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the charity of your choice.
Judy was a loving mom and grandmother, a wonderful friend and a generous caregiver. Her warmth and kind spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Maria del Carmen Valenzuela
Maria del Carmen Valenzuela, 90, went to heaven to meet her beloved husband, parents, and siblings on February 26, 2004. Maria was born February 17, 1914. In those 90 years, she raised nine children, helped to raise 32 grandchildren and 68 great-grandchildren.
Maria is survived by her nine children, Blas (Alicia) Valenzuela, Manuel (Delia) Valenzuela, Aurelia Savinon, Rosa (Guillermo) Gomez, Concepcion (Vale) Delgado, Maria (Juan) Pena, Antonia (Jesus) Urbalejo, Jose-Jesus Valenzuela, and Susana Valenzuela.
All services will be held in San Luis Rio Colorado Sonora, Mexico.
Pallbearers will be Blas Valenzuela, Jr., Manuel Valenzuela, Jr., Frank Savinon, Willy Gomez, Michael Alcala, Juan Enruqie Pena Jr., Jose Urbalejo, and Diego Villapuda.
