The Selection Process

The Yuma Sun accepted nomination forms from employees of Yuma-area businesses and organizations. Then it sent applications to all nominees, who were asked to provide more information about their organizations and to highlight their human resources practices.

Human resources professionals reviewed all the nominations, from which they selected an overall winner, first-place finisher, runner-up and winner of the essay theme: ethics.

Trophies were presented to the winners at an awards reception.
