Yuma tops San Luis

The Yuma boys and girls cross country teams beat San Luis on Wednesday. The boys won 20 to 35 and the girls won 15 to 40.
San Luis' Germano Altamirano won the boys race with a time of 18 minutes, 19 seconds. Yuma's Julian Gonzalez took second with a time of 18:48 and Jesus Rojas rounded out the top three with a time of 19:14.
The Criminals swept the top five spots in the girls race. Andrea Arviso won with a time of 24:06 and was followed by Korina Salgado (24:13) and Barbara Vargas (25:17). The Sidewinders' top finisher was Paulina Sanchez in sixth with a time of 26:23.
