Cibola boys strong at home pool

The Cibola boys swim team won 10 of the 24 events on Wednesday to win their four-school meet against Gila Ridge, Deer Valley and Tolleson.

Jake Kaba had two individual wins in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. Colin Stiffler won the 200 freestyle, Jacob Russell-Cheung won the 200 IM, Jaron Boggs won the 50 free, Mike Doering won the 500 free and Andrew Russell-Cheung won the 100 breaststroke.

Gila Ridge finished in third place as a team. Andrew Gough was second in the 100 butterfly and third in the 200 freestyle.
