Wound center wonderful place
Comments 0 | Recommend 0In early June, I developed a leg ulcer due to varicose veins. It was probably brought on by my attempt to learn Zumba Latin dancing.
I went to two doctors. Still struggling with the healing, I was led to the Wound Center at YRMC. I did not even know that we had one in Yuma. What a marvelous group of caring people. I have been so impressed with all that they do.
Dr. Lewis is so nice and has a wonderful personality. I looked forward to hearing him whistle as he went from room to room with his patients. Nurse Laura is a lovely lady that makes sure her patients understand what they are to do in order to get better. Each of the nurses is so friendly and will give you advice on even some of the foods that will help you heal.
I actually looked forward to every visit that I had. I was always made to feel like they really cared.
Yuma is blessed to have such a wonderful facility. Recently, they discharged me. I will never forget their smiles, their kindnesses and their expert care.
