Teacher of the Year nominees to be announced Tuesday

The names of the Teacher of the Year nominees for the 2012-2013 school year will be shared at a Crane Elementary School board meeting on Tuesday.

Nominated by their colleagues, teachers will be recognized in the categories of outstanding first year, primary, intermediate, middle school, and special area. The teachers will be considered for the title of Yuma County Teacher of the Year, which will be announced in a countywide contest in the spring.

Also during the meeting, a presentation will be provided illustrating an overview of the elementary report card, which will be electronic beginning in the fall.

The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. at the Crane Education Center, 4250 W. 16th St. Visit www.craneschools.org/agendas to view the meeting agenda.
