Shamrocks dominant on the road

Junior Evans pitched five strong innings to lead Yuma Catholic past Gila Bend 8-2 on Thursday.

Evans allowed five hits and two earned runs in the sixth before leaving the game with his team still ahead thanks to a four-run sixth inning of its own.

Adrian Gutierrez went 2-for-2 with a home run and 2RBI, while Matt Inman, Bobby Rodriguez and Josh Evans each had two hits and an RBI.
