BEST RADIO or TV PERSONALITY

Yuma's Best Radio/TV Personality for 2007 can be found at Yuma's Best Radio Station.

For the seventh time, Jay Walker expresses astonishment at having been voted Yuma's Best yet again.

"This town blows me away. Every year it's the same thing, that I just can't believe it. I'm truly at a loss for words."

After momentary silence, Walker said maybe the Yuma's Best title has something to do with his community involvement.

"I live, breathe, sleep and eat Yuma, Arizona, starting with our kids all the way to adults. This town supports members of its town like no other place.

"Thank you so much," he said to those who voted for him.

"It really does mean a lot to me. Things like this make it worth getting myself up at 3 a.m. every morning ... My first thought each morning is, what do listeners want to hear?

"I keep listeners informed about what's going on here, what the community needs, what the town is doing to help.

"That my efforts are not going unrecognized, them honoring me with this award, makes it all worth it. Yuma rocks! We play the best of today's country music, we play games, we give away prizes. There's always a chance to win something or hear your favorite song."

Tune in to KTTI 95.1 Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. to hear Walker's program.

The phone number is 344-4980.
