The City of Yuma has installed the historic record-breaking endurance flight airplane in Yuma City Hall.
In 2009 the Yuma Sun took an in-depth look back at the history of flight in Yuma. One of the major events was the 1949 Endurance Flight, which was pivotal in reopening a military installation in the Yuma area.
