Two adults and four children were transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center Saturday afternoon after being involved in a high-speed rollover in Mexico near Mexicali.
According to Rural/Metro, at about 2:45 p.m., ambulances from their agency and from the Yuma Fire Department were dispatched to the port of entry at Andrade to pick up the patients. The emergency had been reported by the Imperial County Sheriff's Office.
The nature of the injuries suffered by the six people was not released to the public Saturday. Neither ICSO nor Customs and Border Protection at the Andrade port responded to requests by the Yuma Sun for comment Saturday.
No other information was available as of press time.
