Bruno
Bruno (Sacha Baron Cohen) is an ego-obsessed Austrian fashionista who is the self-proclaimed "voice of Austrian youth TV" and wants nothing more than to be famous. In pursuit of that goal, he chases celebrities, adopts an African child and looks for a "hot" charity. (Darfur, he announces, is old news, but how about Darfive?). The Brothers Bloom
Bloom (Adrien Brody) and Stephen (Mark Ruffalo) are brothers who have been working together as con men since they were children. There is a constant tug of war between them, with Bloom desperate to get out of the game, while his brother Stephen drags him back. Stephen is the mastermind, for whom the intricacy of the story used in the con is as important as the positive outcome of the swindle.
Bloom is the main character of Stephen's stories, the character he considers the anti-hero. As adults, they travel the world and never enlist the same people twice in their cons, except for their consistent sidekick, the mysterious and primarily silent Bang Bang (Rinko Kikuchi), a Japanese woman who just appeared in their lives one day and who has a penchant for blowing things up.
As Bloom hits his mid-30s, he wants to quit the business as he is losing his own identity to that of the characters he portrays; he doesn't know anymore what is real and what is make-believe. Stephen talks him into one last con, the mark to be the eccentric, lonely but beautiful New Jersey heiress, Penelope Stamp (Rachel Weisz).
They decide to steal millions from the lonely, bored heiress while they pose as antique dealers. But Bloom falls in love with the charming Penelope, and the con gets even more complicated. (PG-13) Main St. Cinemas
I Love You, Beth Cooper
When a geeky high school valedictorian (Paul Rust) throws caution to the wind by expressing his love for a popular cheerleader (Hayden Panettiere) during his graduation speech, life finally starts to get interesting. Much to his surprise, Beth shows up at his door and decides to show him the best night of his life. (PG-13) Harkins Theatres
Harry Potter
Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds, and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching.
Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort’s defenses. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny (Bonnie Wright).
As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again. (PG) Harkins Theatres
