Bon/Fire pays tribute to AC/DC
Comments 0 | Recommend 0 Cleveland's Bon/Fire will give an energetic tribute to AC/DC, one of the most influential bands in rock 'n' roll history, Saturday in the Atlantis Room at Paradise Casinos.
The performance will be from 7 to 9:30 p.m., open to ages older than 21 only.
"Bon/Fire is the premiere AC/DC tribute band in the nation, and possibly the world," said Barrett DeFay, marketing director for Paradise Casinos.
"They cover all of AC/DC's legendary music albums and have performed at the largest AC/DC convention in Europe: Wrexham Wrecks 'Em, Wales," DeFay said.
Some of the AC/DC numbers planned are "Highway to Hell," "It's A Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)," "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap," "She's Got Balls" and "Love at First Feel."
The lineup starts with Jeff Endemann, lead guitar player; Angus Young and his duck walking; Wes Lauderback, bassist; Kenny Struhar, "thump behind the band"; Tony Tyminski, rhythm guitarist; and Scott Mattocks, lead singer.
Tickets are $10, and on sale at the casinos. For details, call DeFay at 1-888-777-4946, Ext. 2360.
