Comedy Night returns
Comedy Night returns to Cocopah Casino on Saturday, and the Yuma Sun is giving away tickets.
Shows at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. will feature the comedy of Karen Rontowski, Vince Royale and Dave Nunez.
Tickets are $10 for general admission and $15 for VIP. Audience members must be 21 years or older.
The Yuma Sun will be giving away tickets Thursday for both performances at the casino. To enter the giveaway, look for a notice on Facebook.com/YumaSunNews.
About Karen Rontowski:
Karen Rontowski made her network debut on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and has been featured on Comedy Central and Comics Unleashed. She has headlined all over the world and has opened for such show biz legends as Bob Hope, Ray Charles and the Monkees. She has toured 45 of the 50 states in the U.S. and has toured throughout Canada, Japan, Greenland and all over Europe. She has also entertained the troops.
About Vince Royale:
Vince Royale is a stand-up comedian, actor and recording artist who has been featured in VH1, CBS, ABC, MTV, various commercials, independent films, and reality shows. He has performed across the U.S. in prominent venues such as Caroline's, The Gotham Comedy Club, Comic Strip Live and Yankee Stadium in New York.
On the West Coast, he has performed at the world-famous Comedy Store, The Punchline, the Improv, the Ice House and the Laugh Factory.
Royale has shared the stage with comedy legends such as Louis C.K., Bobby Lee, Paul Mooney, Tommy Davidson, Todd Glass and Jim Gaffigan. He also produces shows where he spotlights upcoming musicians and comedians featured in Showtime, HBO, Comedy Central, and BET.
He was also the winner of the “Funniest Comedian in So Cal” hosted by the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club.
About Dave Nunez:
Dave Nunez has headlined and been featured at major venues such as the Comedy Store in Hollywood and La Jolla, the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club, Pechanga Casino, the Ice House and Las Vegas' LA Comedy Club. He has also hosted at The Laugh Factory at the Tropicana.
Nunez has opened for many headliners such as NBC's Chris D'Elia, “Reno 911's” Carlos Alazraqui, “The Hangover's” Bryan Callen, Brandon T. Jackson, Melissa Villaseñor, Greg Fitzsimmons, Sam Tripoli and Melinda Hill. He has also toured with Rick Martinez.
