Paradise Casinos hosts comic Dave Goodman

  "Thursday night at Sharky's Lounge at the Paradise Casinos with Dave Goodman on stage, it will be a barrel of laughs night," said Barrett DeFay, marketing director for the casinos.

  "Show will start at 8 p.m.," DeFay said.

  Goodman has entertained audiences around the world, from military bases in Korea to Japan, from cruise ships in Tahiti to Istanbul.

  He has worked in comedy clubs across the United States and on main stages in Las Vegas.

  Through the years he has shared the stage with known stand-up comics including Robin Williams, David Spade, Ellen DeGeneres and Drew Carey.

  Singing sensations with whom he has appeared are Chaka Kahn, the  Fifth Dimension, The Four Tops and on national television shows.

  He's written a play, "My Johnson Speaks," in which he stars. His film debut was in Electrum Film's "One Hit Wonder."

  "Goodman's show is one of the Free Comedy Nights, open to the public, ages 21 and older," DeFay said.
