Here are some weekend band performances around Yuma:

- Friday: Slick Nickel will be performing at the Mine Shaft, 3780 S. 4th Ave, starting at 9 p.m. There is no cover charge for this 21-and-older event. For more information, go to myspace.com/slicknickelbandyumaaz.

- Friday and Saturday - The Blues Deluxe will be at Cocopah Casino, 15318 S. Avenue B, from 8 p.m. till midnight. They will be playing blues, oldies, country and classic rock. For more information, go to www.myspace.com/blues yuma. There is no cover charge for this 21-and-older event.
