- Thursday: Impact Eve will perform at Crazy Earl's, 11274 S. Fortuna Road, starting at 9 p.m. The band will be playing alternative rock, and those ages 21 and up can attend.
- Friday and Saturday: Slick Nickel will be performing at the Mine Shaft, 3780 S. 4th Ave., starting at 9 p.m. There is no cover charge for this 21-and-older event. More info is at myspace .com/slicknickelband yumaaz.
- Friday and Saturday: Come and enjoy live music with 4th Ave. Extension at Sharkey's Lounge in Paradise Casinos, 850 Quechan Road, Winterhaven, from 9 p.m. till 1 a.m. Their music style includes classic rock 'n' roll, country rock and blues.
- Saturday: Get ready for a triple threat with Anne James, a singer, songwriter and guitarist. James will be performing at Julieanna's, 1951 W. 25th St., beginning at 7 p.m. The performance is free and open to the public. James is a member of the Phoenix-based group The Artichoke Sisters and plays a range of acoustic musical styles. For more information, call 388-9058.
- Saturday: Stoned Cold Killer Productions will have a free rock concert at Kennedy Memorial Park, off 24th Street and Kennedy Lane, at Ramada 26. It will go from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
