Nights in Rodanthe

Miracle at St. Anna
 Spike Lee turns a book about a town in Tuscan village during World War II into a screenplay about four black American soldiers trapped in the village. A young boy's life is saved, and search of a sculpted head from its location in Florence is part of the plot. (R) (Harkins Yuma Palms 14)

Ghost Town
  Not a popular man, Bertram Pincus (Rickey Gervais) dies unexpectedly but is revived after a few minutes. When he wakes up, he sees pesky ghosts who want something from him. One of the worst is Frank Herlihy (Greg Kinnear) who goads him into breaking up the coming wedding of his widow Gwen (Tea Leoni). (PG-13) (Harkins Yuma Palms 14)

Igor
  A mere lab assistant, Igor, wants to become a scientist in this animated film. His mean master dies just before an Evil Science Fair, and Igor takes over with two friends he created: Brain, in a jar, and Scamper, a bunny saved from a roadkill. Igor tries to invent a monster, but the result is Eva, a gentle giant actress. The monstrous misfits fight the evil plot trying to  save their world. Lakeview Terrace
 As a self-appointed protector of his neighborhood, a police officer (Samuel L. Jackson) doesn't approve of the interracial newlyweds (Patrick Wilson and Karry Washington)  moving next door. The situation becomes tragic when the couple fight back. (PG-13) (Harkins Yuma Palms 14)

My Best Friend's Girl
  Alexis (Kate Hudson) is the girl of Dustin's dreams, but she cools things down, permanently. Dustin (Dane Cook) turns to his friend Tank (Jason Biggs), who is an expert on rebounds. However, his attempts to take Alexis on the worst date ever is not successful, because she calls his bluff. (R) (Harkins Yuma Palms 14 and Main St. Cinemas)

The Family That Preys
  Families torn apart by greed and scandal are led by matriarchs Charlotte Cartwright (Kathy Bates) and  Alice Pratt (Alfre Woodard). Their friendship is tested because of their adult children's extramarital affairs. The two take a trip across the country to possibly find a way to save the families from ruin. Burn After Reading
  Two not-so-honorable gym employees find a disc bearing the memoirs of a CIA agent and try to sell it.  Carrying out the comedy crime are George Clooney, Frances McDormand, Brad Pitt, John Malkovich and Tilda Swinton. (R) (Harkins Yuma Palms 14 and Main St. Cinemas)

Righteous Kill
  Turk (Robert DeNiro) and Rooster (Al Pacino), veteran New York City detectives, strive to see if a new murder is connected to a case they had solved years ago. They're wondering if they may have sent the wrong person to prison. (R) (Main St. Cinemas and Harkins Yuma Palms 14)

The Women
  High society, gossipy women meeting in beauty salons and fashion shows learn that Mary (Meg Ryan) Haines' marriage is in trouble when Crystal (Eva Mendes), a shop girl, is after Mary's husband. More gossip fodder when Sylvia (Annette Bening), the scandalmonger, follows Mary on a train to Reno. Among the women are Debra Messing, Bette Midler, Candice Bergen and Cloris Leachman. Bangkok Dangerous
   Joe (Nicolas Cage) is in Bangkok to carry out his hitman duties but is delayed when he meets a local woman and an errand boy.(R) (Harkins Yuma Palms 14)

Babylon A.D.
   Toorop (Vin Diesel), a veteran now a mercenary, takes a job escorting a woman from Russia to America. He discovers she is host to an organism that a cult wants to harvest and produce a genetically modified messiah. (PG-13) (Harkins Yuma Palms 14 )

Death Race
  In the Terminal Island, NY 2020 setting, Jensen Ames (Jason Statham), a NASCAR champion, is a prisoner and forced to enter a "Death Race" to win his freedom. In a three-day brutal challenge, he faces a gauntlet of vicious criminals — kill or be killed. (R) (Harkins Yuma Palms 14)

The House Bunny
  For nine years, Shelley Darlington (Anna Faris) was in the Playboy mansion as one of Hef's favorites, a den mother to others. She's evicted on her birthday because of age. She wanders around Los Angeles then becomes a housemother to a sorority, giving the girls tips on how to become successful. (PG-13) (Harkins Yuma Palms 14)

Tropic Thunder
  While in Southeast Asia to film the largest and most expensive war movie ever, Tugg Speedman (Ben Stiller), an egotistic superstar, and his co-stars Kirk Lazarus (Robert Downey Jr.) and Jeff Portnoy (Jack Black) are forced to become real soldiers in a jungle battle. (R) (Harkins Yuma Palms 14)

The Mummy: Tomb of
the Dragon Emperor
    Explorer Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) faces the resurrected Chinese Han Emperor (Jet Li) in the remote Himalayas. He's joined by his son Alex (Luke Ford), wife Evelyn (Maria Bello) and her brother Jonathan (John Hannah). The ruler is awakened from eternal slumber, the 2,000-year curse is broken and a raging battle follows. (PG-13) (Harkins Yuma Palms 14)
