Garage fire in Foothills

Firefighters with Rural Metro responded to a call for a fire in a residence in the 3800 block of S. Desert Air Blvd. just after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Rural Metro spokeswoman Charly McMurdie said the blaze was contained to the garage and all occupants were able to get out of the house safely without injury.
