Yuma Monsignor Richard O’Keeffe delivered a prayer honoring St. Patrick this week on the floor of the Arizona State Senate at the request of Sen. Don Shooter. Here, O’Keeffe and Senate Majority Leader Andy Biggs commemorate the occasion. O’Keeffe, who retired from his post at Yuma’s Immaculate Conception Church in 2010, was ordained as a minister at St. Patrick’s College and Seminary in Thurles, Ireland, in 1959.
