YPD officer involved in injury accident on Christmas Eve (w/video)

A Yuma police officer was injured in a single vehicle accident Christmas Eve.
The officer was in an on-duty marked patrol vehicle when he was involved in a single-vehicle rollover accident at 11 p.m. Wednesday at Avenue G and County 14th Street, according to Clint Norred, Yuma Police Department spokesman.
The officer, who was not identified in the news release, received minor injuries. He was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office is the investigating agency since the accident occurred in the county.
