Strong winds from an afternoon weather event damaged a home in the 300 block of Teton Drive in Palm Desert Estates Monday afternoon.

Strong winds from an afternoon weather event damaged a home in the 300 block of Teton Drive in Palm Desert Estates Monday afternoon, leaving a portion of the roof rafters exposed and the awning peeled back on top of the home's roof. No one was home at the time of the event, and no injuries were reported. No other damage was reported in the area.
