Paving begins Friday in San Luis, Ariz.
Paving and other improvements to two San Luis, Ariz., streets will begin Friday and continue through Oct. 10, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Urtuzuastegui Street will be widened and paved from Cesar Chavez Park to 10th Avenue, after which 10th Street will be paved from Urtuzuastegui to County 23rd Street, also know as Juan Sanchez Boulevard.
The streets are being improved for traffic safety and dust reduction, ADOT said in a news release.
After the paving is completed, workers will build sidewalks with ramps along the newly paved roadways, striped the pavement and install signs.
The project is scheduled to be completed in mid-November.
