Yuma police say they will be watching out for and ticketing unsafe drivers on 4th Avenue starting Monday.

Fourth Avenue will be the focus this week of Project Drive Safe, the police department's ongoing campaign to crack down on dangerous motorists.

Traffic enforcement will be targeting motorists who run red lights, commit turning infractions and follow too closely behind other drivers, police said in a news release. Police will continue to monitor 4th Avenue through Nov. 11.
