Police seek help to locate bicycle thief

Yuma police are looking for help from the public in finding a man who stole a bicycle that a business allowed him to take on a test ride.

The man rode away from Mr. B's Bicycle, 1870 S. 4th Ave., after the store had given him permission to ride the bicycle in the store parking lot on Dec. 11 at 1:30 p.m., police said.

The man is described as light-complexioned, 21 to 22 years old, 5 feet 9 inches, 145 pounds, having brown hair and a small patch of facial hair under the bottom lip, having brown eyes and possibly having a tattoo on the right forearm. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with a black design and blue jeans.

The stolen bicycle is a black HARO FX24, single-speed bike with blue lettering, police said.

Yuma police encourage anyone with information about the suspect or the theft to call 783-4421 or 78-CRIME.
