YUHSD policies to get first readings
First readings on various school board policies will be held at a Yuma Union High School District governing board meeting Wednesday.
Policies under consideration include bilingual instruction, public information and communications, medical marijuana standards and conditions for employees, and evaluation of professional staff members.
Student council members from Gila Ridge, Cibola and Vista high schools will present reports on past and upcoming events on their campuses.
Lastly, the board will also receive updates on Ready Now Yuma and on the internal YUHSD budget.
The meeting begins at 5:15 p.m. in the YUHSD governing board room, 3150 S. Avenue A. Visit www.yumaunion.org to view the meeting agenda.
