15 injured in fieldworker bus rollover in Dome Valley
Comments 0 | Recommend 0An accident occurred around 7:15 p.m. Thursday involving a BC Harvest bus carrying fieldworkers on Avenue 24E between County 9th and 10th.
There were 30 passengers and a driver on the bus at the time.
According to the Yuma County Sheriff's Office, a total of 18 people were injured, four of whom had to be airlifted from the scene. Those four were not taken by ambulance due to space restrictions. None of the injuries were life threatening.
The bus was traveling south on 24E when it tipped over on its right side.
Tri-Valley Ambulance, Rural/Metro, Wellton Fire and Police, Yuma County Sheriff's Office and Border Patrol responded to the accident.
Authorities were still on scene as of 9:30 p.m.
