Celebration Saturday for YRMC's littlest graduates

Some very special little people are invited to celebrate their accomplishments Saturday with the hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Graduation and Reunion.

The annual event brings together families who have had infants in the challenging, emotional and sometimes difficult experience of the intensive care unit at Yuma Regional Medical Center.

Children who have been cared for in the NICU and their families are invited to the reunion from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Yuma Civic Center, 1440 Desert Hills Drive.

Hosted by the NICU staff, it will feature YRMC and community resource booths, a family networking area, refreshments, games, activities and the opportunity to celebrate the great gift of life.
