Yuma mom seeks missing son
A mother in Yuma is concerned for the safety of her teenage son who disappeared on July 9.
Christian Bense, 17, is described as having a light complexion with brown hair and blue eyes, and is 6 feet tall and about 155 pounds.
Being absent for such a long period is not usual for Christian, said his mother, Cathy Bense.
“The longest he has ever been gone past curfew has been an hour or two. The last time he was seen by his friends was on Monday (July 9).”
Bense is very concerned and has been “hoping” and “praying” for his safe return, she added.
If Christian reads this article, his mother wants him to call home to let her know he is OK.
“I can't sleep,” she said about the worry his absence has caused her.
Anyone with any information about Christian's whereabouts is asked to call the Yuma County Sheriff's Office at 783-4427 and refer to case No. 201257480.
Anyone who has seen Christian outside of Yuma County is asked to call the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.
