The Yuma Fun Factory is closed down temporarily as of Sunday night, the Yuma Sun confirmed Monday morning.
The closure was confirmed by Security Director Steve Magallanes, who was at the family fun center Monday morning to secure the property.
He was unable to provide any further information.
Calls Monday to General Manager Brian Davis and Dan Thelen, managing director and principal, were not immediately returned.
Yuma Fun Factory, located off the North Frontage Road between Avenues 4E and 5E, had opened in late May.
It included a restaurant, bar and arcade in a 17,000-square-foot building as well as two miniature golf courses and other outdoor activities.
At the time the complex opened, it had nearly 200 employees.
The Yuma Fun Factory was to have been the venue for the Yuma Sun's Battle of the Bands Saturday. Marketing Directory Adrianne Wagner said the Yuma Sun is making arrangements for another location to hold the contest. Fred Earle, manager of Alsco, said the company received a phone call Monday morning to come by and pick up its towels, aprons and mats.
