Students invite community to sample fare
Culinary arts students are inviting the community to dine on Arizona Western College's campus.
Dinners will feature culinary creations from AWC students, with the first on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in LR 109 on the main campus.
Tickets are $25 and must be purchased in advance.
Tuesday's menu includes brie en croute, tomato basil soup, wilted spinach salad, stuffed pork loin with creamy mushroom sauce, horseradish mashed potatoes, carrots and sugar snap peas, and lemon tart.
Tickets for the Culinary Arts Dinner will be available at the 3C (College Community Center) business office. Community members can call 344-7700 for payment over the phone. Limited tickets are available.
Upcoming meals include chicken cordon bleu on Oct. 30 and beef tenderloin on Nov. 13. All meals include an appetizer, soup/salad and dessert.
