Closures around county for Labor Day

Public offices and schools around Yuma County will be closed Monday for Labor Day.

Municipal, county, state and federal offices, including post offices, will be closed. There will be no mail delivery Monday.

Banks and credit unions will have the day off, as will schools around the county.

The county library district's branches in Yuma, Somerton, San Luis, the Foothills, Wellton, Roll and Dateland will all be closed.

City of Yuma trash collection crews will have the day off Monday. City residents whose trash is collected on Mondays will instead have it picked up on Tuesday. Trash crews will collect on Wednesday from homes normally collected on Tuesdays.

Yuma Sun newspaper offices will be closed Monday, but a morning edition will be distributed as usual.
